Letter from the Hispanic Chamber President
December 21, 2020
Dear Colleagues and Community Partners,
As the nation and world head into challenging and uncertain times – politically, socially, and economically – the need for business organizations to innovate has never been greater. To better serve our business members, the community and corporate partners, it is with great pleasure that we present you the newly expanded Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, now the San Francisco Bay Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Formerly the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Contra Costa County, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Alameda counties, as of December 2019 these two organizations have been merged into the new Bay Area-wide organization now spanning the 101 cities and 9 counties of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are confident that you will clearly see the immediate value and return on membership investment that is galvanized into our new membership programs benefits and services. We’re very excited about the prospect of partnering with you to help you achieve your community-building and communications outreach goals through the quality, innovative engagement programs, and for our merchant partners, we look forward to partnering with you to drive new business and positive social impact for the Bay Area.
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce advocates for the community, commercial, and government relations interests of 7 million constituents across the San Francisco Bay Area’s 9 counties, promoting socioeconomic growth and advancement of the greater Bay Area economy, seeking to promote social equity for under-served businesses in smaller economies. Our philosophical principles are centered on the Hispanic Chamber’s commitment to support diversity, inclusion, and synergy between community, commerce, and government across the region. It is our vision and mission to promote stronger synergy within our community, commercial sector, and government leadership we elect to represent us, thus our maxim, “Civitas, Commercium, et Imperium” emphasizes the Hispanic Chamber’s commitment to supporting diversity, inclusion, and synergy between community, commerce, and government across the region.
Thank you for your support over the past 35 years. We look forward to our continued partnership with you and helping to guide your outreach efforts within your business sector and the community.
I personally look forward to working with you and serving the community.
Sincerely,
Evodio Walle
President,
San Francisco Bay Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
